Nouste Arena

Nousiainen municipality’s new sports hall, Nouste Arena, was put into use in January 2021.

Modern digital screens were included in the plans from the very beginning. In the arena, the screens are used for municipal marketing, in which case the screens are used to communicate especially about the municipality’s services and plot availability.

Digital signage as part of municipal marketing

The best locations for digital screens were determined with FirstView. Together, we ended up with a solution where the digital window screen greets you right at the entrance to the hall. In addition, a large projected screen was brought into the hall. Projector screens are particularly suitable for use in ball games. When projecting content onto a clean wall, the balls thrown into the wall will not cause damage to the screens.

The new sports hall has enough locker rooms for several larger teams, and all six locker rooms were installed with their own digital signage screens. In addition, there is a large 86″ digital screen on the wall of the cafe, which means that the cafe can also be used as a meeting place.

“The Nouste Arena is the best place to market the municipality, because the hall will be filled with players, guardians and coaches from the Turku region,” says Jouni Kangasniemi, Head of Leisure Services at the Municipality of Nousiainen.

In the future, digital signage screens will also be used in tournaments. In this case, match schedules, sponsors’ advertisements and announcements can be conveniently displayed on the screens, which can be updated in almost real time during matches.

Timely and smooth information

Digital screens are easy to update, inviting in appearance and visually attractive. I would recommend digital signage displays within the municipality, for example for internal communication, plus then to reach out-of-towners in public spaces.
