The historic, but rapidly developing, Arabia135 is an entity of more than 15 hectares, located in the Arabianranta area of Helsinki. The center was originally used as a factory (founded in 1874 as the Arabian Porcelain Factory), but the premises have gradually been converted to educational, cultural, office and commercial use.
In the past, informing, marketing and guiding was done with posters placed in the corridors. FirstView’s digital solutions brought flexibility and versatility to the communication and guidance of the property.
In addition to the advertising screens in the stores, interactive guidance kiosks have been placed at the entrances, which can be used to inform visitors about the shops, services and events of the center. In addition to the versatile digital screens, the Arabia135 center uses FirstView’s visitor management, which allows guests arriving at the company’s premises to automatically report their results. An automated visitor path guides guests to the correct facility.
The dynamic content enables more interesting and abundant means of advertising than traditional print advertising, says Jenni Nivalainen, who is responsible for leasing, customer relations, maintenance and future development of the Arabia 135 center. According to Milka Varmola, store manager of Finlayson’s Arabia, in the past, messages and advertisements were drowned in the mass of the stands, and the posters made the entrance look unprofessional. Now the visibility on FirstView’s digital screens is much bigger than on a paper poster. Of course, digital screens can also show several materials and campaigns at the same time. Content can be edited in real time and every employee in the store knows how to add materials, says Milka Varmola.
